Alban Hysa has been with the club since Mount Merrion were playing in Senior 1b and has been an asset in helping the club to achieve success during the years winning leagues 3 years in a row (2004/5, 2005/6, 2006/7) and the George Moore Cup by scoring the only goal of the game season 2004/5. Now MM plays their football in LSL Senior Division and so far Hysa has scored 2 goals this season (1 in the league and 1 in the cup).
Hysa has been playing up front and on the left wing scoring more than 50 goals in all competitions.
Hysa leaves the first team in safe hands as MM full squad includes 23 players that have made their name known in the LSL Senior top Division and league of Ireland.
Alban will get involved as player/coach with the Saturday team.
